What a neat idea!
Those campaign signs are made of a durable corrugated plastic.
Why not make them from biodegrable materials?

seems like they used to be made out of plain old cardboard, which is recyclable, but that is less durable, especially in the rain, but I agree with you, biodegradable materials would be much more earth-friendly! lets start a campaign!!
