Olympia Dumpster Divers

Inspired by the original Japanese cooking show Iron Chef, Tacoma Art Museum’s Iron Artist Challenge invites artists to create competitive, improvised art out of recycled materials in 60 minutes.  This past summer, Team James Washington (Esther Ervin, Romson Bustillo, and Marita Dingus) took first place, and donated the $200 prize to the James and Janie Washington Foundation.  Go team!
