Isn’t that nice? Fellow NorthWest Designer Craftsmen member Bonnie Tarses tagged me for a Nice Award:

So, now I have to pass it on…this is nicer than a chain letter, and I do read some blogs that I think are nice: Maggie’s irrepressible crafty spirit at Keeping Me In Stitches makes me want to go back to school and make installation art sock monkeys and drink hot tea and conspire with fellow craftsters. I feel warm and cozy reading her blog.

Other Nice blogs: poorworm (another nice whimsical woman into artsy plushies), The Hip Homemaker (go to garage sales for the good stuff, paint and decorate those rooms, make your house a nice home, but none of that Martha stuff) , Crafty Green Poet (poetry and crafts, lots of nice ideas) FARMER BOB’s FARM (this dude is really nice), and Art for Housewives (beyond nice, Cynthia finds the most amazing sites about women and crafts and art and recycling). A nice commercial indie blog: Miss Malaprop (finds for your uncommon life — hey, even an indie has to shop, and this stuff is really nice!).

Speaking of nice:

Russ Morgan and Stuart Gullstrand came down yesterday to pick up one of Ruby Re-Usable’s baskets that will be part of the Going Green at the Beach open house art show. We wandered around downtown Oly in the rain, where we had a nice lunch at Plenty and a drink at the artesian well. Karen G. visited last week when the weather was nicer; didn’t get any pics, but studio mate Jenny Macc did get her girls to model some really nice hand warmers and handmade bags here.

Jason Webley and his amazing band of musicians played the Capitol Theater on Saturday night; it was really nice of Jason to put Diane Kurzyna on the guest list. Nice sentiment at the Olympia Free Wall (is it not nice of me to mention that inherit has been misspelled?) :
