Seattle collage artist Deborah Lawrence makes disruptive art that challenges the status quo.  Last year she created a controversial ornament for the  White House X-mas tree that included a quote from Representative Jim McDermott’s resolution to impeach Bush.  This year, Deborah is asking people to imagine ways to reuse the Pentagon, and is also offering a limited edition ornament, made from recycled, sustainable and archival materials, that represents some ideas about reimagining the Pentagon.  Watch Deborah talk about her latest work on Art Zone, read about it at Another Bouncing Ball, see it at the Catherine Person Gallery, and hear Deborah talk at Vermillion’s roundtable on November 17.  And then tell us how you would recycle the Pentagon!
