Whoppers by Kelly Lyles

Ruby Re-Usable and Rachel Recycle went to West Seattle last week for the opening of our friend Kelly Lyles‘ art show, Candyland, at Twilight Gallery.  Kelly created 50 small “candy portrait” acrylic paintings for this show, incorporating recycled items on the thrift store frames (she sliced up wine corks for “Whoppers” above).  Rachel likes the Circus Peanuts painting the best but Ruby is partial to Coffee Nips with the little coffee pot and cups and burlap coffee bag.   You can see more pics from this sweet show HERE
