Trash Fashion ’11 Recap Part I
Happy Earth Day!

The Seattle RE Store’s two sold-out Trash Fashion Shows were truly trashtastic: twenty nine designers/design teams with twenty one models presented over thirty four ensembles made from an amazing assortment of, well, trash! The official theme this year was plastic pollution, and so many of the designers found creative ways to use plastic shopping bags, the plastic bags from boxed wine, plastic lids of all sizes, shapes and colors, plastic toys, plastic packaging, and even plastic medical waste.

This was my first year attending the Trash Fashion Show, and it was amazing! I will make this an annual tradition for sure from here on out. Some of the outfits in the crowd were spectacular as well. Thanks for the nice mention of my blog.
heya, Beth, thanks for coming to the Trash Fashion Show and blogging about it, glad you had a good time! I saw the 2nd Trash Fashion Show at the RE Store and was so impressed, I wanted to participate! This is the 3rd year that I have had fashion included in the show, maybe you will be inspired to enter, too!!
