I was in Salem, OR on Saturday, and from a distance, this tree looked really fascinating, made me think about large scale artwork, incorporating the natural and the unnatural, plotting about more temporary public art installation possibilities.

I saw this lovely little graffitied niche at the Oly Free Wall yesterday, when there was a coffee mug sitting inside of the circle, as well as another coffee mug on top of the trash can on 5th and Washington. Made me think that there were other coffee mugs playfully placed around town that day. But I did not have my camera on me, and of course, when I returned today with my camera, the coffee mugs were gone. But not forgotten. Another mystery to ponder as I drank an americano in my studio: random acts of street art coffee cup installations. Oh, and the bird head is still there.
