Ruby is working with the City of Olympia Public Works Waste ReSources out at DirtWorks, teaching 3rd graders about recycling and composting by creating Trash Trolls out of discarded cardboard, twisty ties, aluminum pop tops and other junk

Ruby worked with The Evergreen State College’s program, Imagining the Body; the identity dolls from detritus are now on display at the TESC library through winter quarter.

Ruby Re-Usable is once again one of the volunteer coordinators of Duck the Malls, a fund raiser for the Olympia Film Society at the Capitol Theater, and will be selling her latest handmade upcycled wares on Saturday, December 13, 2008, 11 am till 4 pm, along with about 40 other local artists.  Ruby will be upstairs in the mezzanine, come up and say hi!
