On 10/14, Bill Fleming (left), George Kurzman (right), Trudes Tango, and moi headed north in George Kurzman’s bio-diesel car to attend the opening of the Recycled Art Show at the NYFA in Ballard.
Since it was Ballard Arts Walk, lots of people and their dogs came through to see the show, including artist Rebecca DeVere and her dog, Rocky (he personally chewed the papers in this collage by Rebecca).
Other participating artists were there, including Chris Jordan (with his son Emerson), and Patti Shaw.
Artists who weren’t in the show this year also came by. Below is the lovely Kelly Lyles posing in front of some art work that she wishes she could have in her artsy house.
I will post more pictures and tell you about the second opening and the Trash Fashion Show at the Re-Store when I have the time!
