Recycled Art: Matchstick Musical Instruments
After seeing our cigarette butt bunny post, Tony Hall contacted ODD about his late father, Jack Hall, who created musical instruments from spent match sticks while he was a seaman in the Merchant Navy back in the 1930’s. Not only are these instruments playable, they also have a beautiful diamond-shaped pattern on their surface, formed by the matchstick heads.
