Explorer’s Last Adventure
The Explorer took a final ride around downtown Oly in a trailer behind Bil Fleming‘s bike.
He stopped at Olympia Federal Savings, with those wonderfully weird doors (from when it was “Key Bank,” I think),
and met up with me at Rainy Day Records , where I was installing the Observer: 
While the Explorer was riding on the bike, I was pushing the Observer down 4th AV, where I ran into Patricia and Janae, co-curators of the OFS mezzanine gallery, who were sitting in front of Caffe Vita.
The Observer will be sitting at the listening station at Rainy Day Records unless Tim decides her 15 minutes of listening is up; she will move to Sweet Life on Capitol Way on Friday.
I love the portabity of this work and the ability of it to transform a typically non-art scene into a tableau that leads me to consider our inhabitation of this plastic wrapped transparecy filled world.
